The Department of Atmospheric Sciences at the University of São Paulo, Brazil will host the 1st Annual CMAS South America Conference on February 25-27, 2013. CMAS South America is accepting oral and poster abstracts for the sessions listed below. The deadline to submit oral and poster abstracts for the 1st Annual CMAS South America Conference is December 10, 2012. The CMAS Center at the University of North Carolina will provide training on SMOKE and CMAQ the week before the conference. SMOKE training will be held February 18-20 and CMAQ training February 21-22. These training courses will combine lectures and hands-on exercises to introduce air quality researchers to emissions and air quality modeling with SMOKE and CMAQ. All courses will be offered on the campus of the University of São Paulo. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Extended Abstracts Extended abstracts should be submitted by January 20, 2013. All presenters (Oral and Poster) need to provide an extended abstract. The abstracts should be NO LONGER THAN 6 pages and should be submitted in PDF format. The abstract should include your name, affiliation, e-mail address, fax number, and phone number. Please e-mail your extended abstract to cmas-sa@model.iag.usp.br with the subject line "Conference extended abstract" by January 20, 2013. Extended abstracts will not be accepted after March 1, 2013.
